The Arsht Cannon Fund awarded a $10,000 grant to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.

Support from the Arsht Cannon Fund will help to offset the costs to house and provide support services to Hispanic Delaware families with a chronically ill or injured child who is being treated at a hospital in the Wilmington area.

Every year, the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware welcomes more than 2,000 families, nearly 60 of which are Hispanic Delaware residents. While staying at the house, families are provided a private guestroom with an attached bathroom, meals throughout the day including a dinner, transportation to and from the hospital and access to other support services.

There is no cost to stay at the house. A $15 contribution per night is requested from each family, but it is not required and is often reduced or waived.
