New aerial footage of Winterthur's Point-to-Point race course and tailgate and tent locations is available online to help event-goers identify and reserve tailgating locations.

Sales opened March 1 for the 39th year of the Brandywine Valley's spring sporting event held May 7 on the grounds of Henry Francis du Pont's Winterthur estate, 5015 Kennett Pike, Winterthur.

The event features a day of professional horse racing; tailgating; and family activities including pony rides, stick horse races, face painting, canine activities and more in the kid-friendly Winterthur Hunt.

The Winterthur Point-to-Point features one of the larger procession of antique horse-drawn carriages in the nation. This year, the procession has been named the George A. “Frolic” Weymouth Carriage Parade, in honor of its founder who passed away in 2016.

A display of 50 antique automobiles will be on view. Shopping in the marketplace and the Kid Shelleen's and Tito's Outpost with Texas Hill Country barbecue and gourmet taco feast including Tito's American Mules and cocktails will be available.

General admission wristbands include access to all race day activities, free remote parking on the Winterthur grounds and the option to picnic on the infield hill overlooking the race track and finish line. General admission wristband holders do not have access to the tailgating areas.

Cost is $30 adult general admission from March 1 to April 28, $50 adult general admission from April 29 to May 6, $15 for ages 12–20, and children younger than 12 are free, but must have a wristband for admittance, not available on race day.
