New Castle County Police are searching for 88-year-old Winifred Spence, missing from her home in the community of Odessa National near Townsend.
On Friday, Aug. 25 at about 10:30 p.m., County Police were dispatched to the 400 block Glenturret Way for a missing person report.
Police learned that Winifred Spence left her residence in a vehicle for a family member’s residence in the Bear area at about 8 p.m. but did not arrive at her destination.
Winifred Spence is described as a white female, 5-feet-2-inches tall, 130 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white blouse and blue pants.
Spence may be driving a 2017 maroon Lincoln MKZ displaying Delaware license plate SP102.
The police's search for Spence included checking her planned destination, but they were unable to locate her.
