Police misidentify suspect.
UPDATE: The state police have announced that they are looking for a different man.
Through the initial investigation, the suspect was identified as 32-year-old, Daniel V. Berquist of Fredericksburg, VA. Upon further investigation, it has been determined that Berquist is not in fact the suspect that was involved in this incident, although, Berquist is wanted out of Justice of the Peace Court 4 on an unrelated capias. This case remains under investigation.

Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man that fled from officers on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Nov. 4, at around 2 a.m., as a trooper was patrolling the area of John J. Williams Highway (Route 24) and Banks Road in Millsboro, attempting to locate a stolen motor vehicle. The trooper spotted the vehicle, a beige 1998 Toyota Avalon, traveling on eastbound John J. Williams Highway and a brief pursuit ensued. The operator stopped the car in front of Holly Lake Campground and fled on foot. Police have not yet apprehended him.
After further investigation, the suspect was identified as 32-year-old Daniel V. Berquist, of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Berquist is being charged with disregarding a police officer signal, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license, and is wanted for questioning related to the stolen car.
