Halloween-themed event in Smyrna has raised nearly $3,000 for charities in past three years.

Now in its third year, the Halloween-themed Witch’s Tea Oct. 29 in Smyrna raised $1,500 to be divided among the four charities: Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in Kent County, Smyrna-Clayton Ministerium, the Second Mile Ministry at Asbury United Methodist Church, and the Code Purple shelter for women and children at Smyrna Wesleyan Church.

This brings the total raised at the Witch’s Tea events to $2,955.
