Smyrna chapter members gathered Feb. 20 for breakfast at Smyrna High School to kick off National FFA Week.
The breakfast was attended by Smyrna School District representatives along with state of Delaware officials.
Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long, Delaware Secretary of Agriculture Michael Scuse, Rep. William Carson and Department of Education Agricultural Supervisor Bart Bill participated in a roundtable discussion with the top leaders of Smyrna FFA about the impact of agriculture, education and natural resources in today's society.
The Smyrna FFA Chapter is overseen by FFA Advisers Keith Shane, Jay Davis, Sarah Bell and Kellie Michaud.
