Police seek help identifying suspect who was caught on surveillance video breaking into the building and stealing a cash register

Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a burglary two weeks ago in Harrington.

On Thursday, March 1 at about 5:34 a.m., the suspect shattered the glass exterior door of the Harrington Moose Lodge at 10929 South Dupont Highway, police said. 

The suspect entered the building, ransacked the premises and used an unknown object to strike the cash register. Then the suspect took the cash register and fled.

Police said the suspect is a heavyset man, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and gloves. The suspect was also carrying a dark-colored bookbag on his back.
