The Delaware Department of Transportation will host a public input workshop from 4 to 7 p.m. April 16 at the Beacon Middle School cafeteria, 19483 John J. Williams Highway, Lewes.
The workshop will be on proposed improvements along the state Route 24 Corridor from the intersection of Robinsonville Road/Angola Road to state Route 1 in Lewes.
The purpose of these projects is to improve safety and operations along the corridor. All facilities will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Attendees will have an opportunity to review the proposed designs and provide comments to DelDOT's representatives.
Proposed improvements: state Route 24, Mulberry Road to state Route 1; state Route 23, Love Creek to Mulberry Knoll Road; state Route 24 at Camp Arrowhead Road; and state Route 24 at Robinsonville Road/Angola Road.
Interested persons are encouraged to express their views in writing, giving reasons for or in opposition to the proposed project.
