36-year-old Jermaine D. Willis arrested.

Delaware State Police have arrested a Milton man after he was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol for the sixth time.

The incident occurred at around 1 a.m. on Friday, April 13, when a trooper observed a maroon Dodge Stratus in the wrong lane of travel on Warrington Road in Rehoboth. A traffic stop was conducted and the trooper detected an odor of alcohol. A DUI investigation ensued, and the operator, 36-year-old Jermaine D. Willis, was taken into custody. A computer check revealed that Willis had five previous DUI convictions.

Willis was charged with sixth-offense driving under the influence of alcohol and multiple traffic violations. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $7,502 cash bond.
