Smyrna's volunteer fire company, Citizens' Hose Company, is hosting an open house tonight, Thursday, April 26, from 6-8 p.m., with games, a bounce house, tours and displays of firetrucks, equipment and memorabilia.

Smyrna’s volunteer fire company, Citizens’ Hose Company, will host a fire prevention open house Thursday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m., at the firehouse, 103 W. Commerce St. The community is invited.

The event is also part of the year-long celebration highlighting the Town of Smyrna’s 250th anniversary.

The open house will include fire trucks, equipment and memorabilia on display, games and prizes for children, a bounce house, tours of the fire station, health screenings and information by Atlantic Apothecary, and free food and refreshments.

Information will also be available for those interested in joining the fire company or donating to the fire company.
