At Smyrna High's 134th Commencement Saturday, the national anthem was sung by SHS Choir Ensemble, including several seniors in their final performance with the group.

The 359 seniors in the Class of 2018, the largest graduating class in the history of Smyrna High School, received their diplomas at the school's 134th commencement Saturday morning. Charles V. Williams Stadium was filled with laughter, tears, memories and cheers – and finally a downpour just as the final diplomas were awarded.

As the seniors walked into the stadium, the Smyrna High School Band played “Fanfare & Processional.”

Class President George Class-Peters Jr. welcomed everyone to the ceremony.

After the presentation of flags by the Smyrna High School Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard, seniors Alyssa Baker and Katie Deisem led the pledge of allegiance. (STORY CONTINUES BELOW PHOTOS)
