Two arrested, Andrew Long III is wanted in Georgetown assault.

Three people have been arrested following an assault investigation in Georgetown.

On the evening of June 5, police were called to the 300 block of North Race Street to check on the welfare of a male lying near the roadway. The victim had been in the area of Douglas Street when he was assaulted by two males, identified as 55-year-old Andrew Long Sr., of Georgetown, and 21-year-old Andrew Long III, of Rehoboth. A female, 29-year-old Lorichia Camper, of Rehoboth, was also identified as being present during the assault.

On June 7, Long Sr. was arrested for second-degree assault, second-degree robbery and conspiracy. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution. Also on June 7, Camper was arrested for providing a false statement, hindering prosecution and conspiracy. She was later released on $6,000 unsecured bond.
