Lavocia Callahan, of Wilmington, is wanted for first-degree assault.

The Delaware State Police are still attempting to locate the suspect involved in a Millsboro stabbing incident and are seeking the public's assistance.

The investigation began on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 8:20 p.m., when troopers were dispatched to the intersection of Townsend and Harmony Cemetery Roads for a reported stabbing. A 38-year-old Milford male was found sitting on the side of the roadway with stab wounds to his extremities. He was removed from the scene by Emergency Medical Services and transported to a local area hospital.

Through investigative measures, troopers were able to identify the stabbing suspect as 47-year-old Lavocia I. Callahan, of Wilmington. Warrants have been obtained for Callahan's arrest including charges of first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing and terroristic threatening.

Troopers have been unable to locate Callahan and asks anyone with information in reference to his whereabouts to contact Detective D.
