Residents can access this interactive map 24 hours a day to see nearly real time crime statistics in their community

The Smyrna Police Department is now providing public access to its online interactive crime map.

Residents can use this interactive map 24 hours a day to see nearly real time crime statistics in their community, according to Smyrna Cpl. Brian Donner.

The crime map is updated daily with information obtained from the crime reports generated by Smyrna officers and approved by Smyrna Police Department supervisors.

“This technology will provide the citizens we serve with a transparent look at crimes reported to and investigated by us,” said Donner.

Access the map at https://www.crimemapping.com/map/agency/494 or by logging in to the home site of www.crimemapping.com and searching for Smyrna by zip code (19977) or agency (Smyrna PD).
