Barnes & Noble will open a new book store at the Christiana Mall Nov. 18, just in time for the holiday shopping season. The chain already has a location in the Concord Mall.
The store will stock close to 200,000 books, CDs, DVDs and magazines and will also include a café serving Starbucks coffee. It will employ about 100 people.
The store will be open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
A public preview party will be held Nov. 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring musical performances, art displays, poetry readings and magic demonstrations.
