Cybertheft prevention workshop in Smyrna Nov. 11

The Town of Smyrna Business Development Committee is sponsoring a free workshop Nov. 11 on preventing cybertheft, the theft of personal or business information from computer networks. The workshop will be held in the second floor conference center at the Smyrna Health & Wellness Center, 100 S. Main Street, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Experts working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will discuss what to look for, how people and businesses can protect themselves, and who to report cybertheft to.

The workshop is free, but registration is required by calling the Smyrna Town Hall, 653-9231.
