Former Kent County Sheriff James Higdon could spent more than nine years in jail following his conviction Wednesday on a combined six felony and misdemeanor charges.Higdon, 61, was convicted in Kent County Superior court on two counts each of stalking, harassment and terroristic threatening, said Department of Justice spokesman Jason Miller. The jury took two hours to reach the guilty verdicts.
