An unknown thief smashed a window at the Dover library and made off with the donation bottle for the new library building fund.
The break-in took place at approximately 2:30 a.m. Aug. 20, said Dover Police Department spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown. Only a small amount of cash was taken, along with the blue water cooler bottle, he said.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 736-7111.
