Arson suspected in two Smyrna fires

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating two fires that were intentionally set in Smyrna.

On Aug. 7, a fire destroyed an 8-foot by 8-foot shed on Market Street Plaza, with an estimated value of $1,000. Arson is suspected in the blaze, said B. Scott Bullock, Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal.

Then on Aug. 15, a shed was burned on East North Street after a domestic dispute, Bullock said.
The fire marshal’s office has a warrant for the arrest of the suspect in the case, Jason Kincaid, 29, of Smyrna.
