Delaware State Police are continuing their investigation into a New Castle County accident that resulted in the death of a Dover man.
The crash occurred at 11:56 p.m. Aug. 25 on the Route 13 ramp to Kirkwood and St. George's Road, North St. George's, said Master Cpl. Jeffrey W. Hale.
The victim, Albert L. Freeman, 69, was on the ramp when he crossed the centerline and left the east side of the road. Freeman’s car traveled through the grass and came to rest after hitting a bridge support column.
Freeman, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
