Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help in the search for suspects in thefts from 10 vehicles in the parking lots of three hotels in Newark sometime late Saturday evening to early Sunday morning.

The suspects targeted cars parked in the Christiana Hilton, Courtyard Marriot, and the Homestead Suites on Continental Drive.

On each vehicle, the side window was smashed, and then items were stolen inside.

Anyone who has information leading to the identification of the suspect or suspects is asked to call the State Police at Troop 6 by dialing 1-302-633-5000. Tips may also be phoned into “Crime Stoppers” by calling 1-800-TIP-3333. All information will remain anonymous.

Troopers would also like to take the opportunity to remind motorists not to keep valuables in plain view when they park their car. Valuables should be removed from the passenger compartment.
