Among the local polling places, the highest percentage margin for Obama came at the Levin Center in downtown Smyrna. Obama received 77.7 percent of the vote to McCain’s 21.2 percent at this location.
The closest polling was at Freewill Baptist Church north of Smyrna, near Townsend. At this location, Obama pulled in 51.5 percent of the vote to McCain’s 46.8 percent.
