Three injured in Dover nightclub shooting

Dover Police are investigating a shooting in which three people were injured Thursday, March 11 at 1:10 a.m.

The incident took place at the Dover Square Club, located at 422 Reed Street, when a man approached several people and opened fire, according to police department spokesman Lt. Tim Stump.

One person was shot twice in the legs, another in the arm and a third person was also shot in the arm.

The person injured in the legs was taken to Christiana Hospital for surgery while the others were treated at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital and then released.

The suspect was described as a light-complexioned black man, approximately 20 to 25 years old wearing a black hat and dark jacket.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111.
