Brian S. Coyle of Clayton passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, Delaware. He was 49.
Brian was born February 12, 1960 in Newburgh, New York the son of the late William S. and Dorothy Mary Culbert Coyle. He worked for Playtex in Dover as an electrician.
Brian enjoyed collecting antique cars and gardening. He was known to be a good handyman and was a self-made carpenter. He was a Proud Eagle Scout of Troop 135 in Smyrna, Delaware.
He is survived by his wife, Violet Coyle; children Kristen M. and Adam Starkey of Smyrna; and grandchildren, Ryan B. Chillas and Kaci L. Joines of Smyrna.
Friends may call Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street, Smyrna, for a gathering in Brian’s memory.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Boy Scouts of America Troop #135, 100 West 10th Street, Suite 915, Wilmington, DE 19801.
