Mary W. Grace, 77, of Smyrna, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE.

Born in Townsend, DE, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Ada Heverin.

She retired from Hercules in Middletown after 25 years of dedicated service.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Mary also enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., doing jigsaw puzzles, camping and sitting with her cat, Rockey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George G. Grace; a sister, Marie Kohout; and two brothers, Wayne and Larry Heverin.

Those left to cherish her fond memories are her daughter, Wanda S. Durham; her son, Kenneth G. Grace; six siblings, Helen Duffy, Phyllis Davison, Robert, Warren, Sidney and David Heverin; four grandchildren, April Thomas and her husband, Randy, Amy Franklin and her husband, Donnie, Lisa Grace, and Kimberly Taylor; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nickolas, and Sabrina Quay, Brittanie, Hunter, Kayla Franklin, De’Shawn Grace, Dazha Morris, Jessie Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE where family and friends may call one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery.
