Theodore R. “Ted” Morrison, 83, formerly of Delaware, passed away at Hospice of the Comforter in Florida on June 18, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Ted was born December 24, 1925 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was the owner of First State Inspection Agency in Dover, Delaware, until he retired to Orlando. He was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Ted was an avid Orlando Magic fan, who also loved the game of golf. He was a member of the Ventura Country Club.
Ted leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Frances M. Morrison of Orlando, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Rodney Herriott of Mesa, Arizona, and Linda and Edward Fisher of Holland Township, New Jersey; grandsons, Edward Fisher III of Phillipsburg, New Jersey and Michael T. Fisher of Seattle, Washington; sister, Evelyn Marshall of Manassas, Virginia; sister-in-law, Jean Morrison of Flat Rock, North Carolina; nephews, Troy and William Marshall and Douglas Morrison, and niece, Barbara Weinstock.
Memorial services will be held Monday, June 22 at 2 p.m., at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.
