Patrick Layne Zimmerman, age 4, of Sudlersville, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2008.

Born on September 11, 2003, he was the son of Ethan & Bethany (Allgyer) Zimmerman.

In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by two sisters, Heather Brooke and Megan Leigh, both at home;  maternal grandparents, Emanuel & Anna Mary (Horning) Allgyer of Johnsonville, Illnois;  paternal grandparents Fred & Sandra (Bauman) Zimmerman of Clayton, Delaware; maternal great-grandfather LeRoy Allgyer of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania; and paternal step-great-grandfather A. Elvin Bauman of Manheim, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Leora (Miller) Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10 a.m., at the Kenton Mennonite Church, 2422 Chance Road, Clayton. Viewing will be on Friday, August 22 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
