Born July 11, 1977, to Ronald and Ann Flowers Barnhart, Raymond was raised in Briggs, Texas, and attended local public schools. Following high school, he worked in the computer industry.
Diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, Raymond survived several crises since February. On May 21, his valiant struggle ended. He maintained a deep faith, a love for the Bible, a joyful, playful spirit, and a childlike trust in God.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Sue.
Raymond is survived by his parents, his brother, and his uncle, Rev. Thomas Flowers of Smyrna.
Funeral services took place in Texas. Father Tom will offer a memorial Mass on June 3, at 7 p.m.
