Jeanne Marie Stulir of Smyrna passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 in Courtland Manor Nursing and Convalescent Home in Dover. She was 39.
Mrs. Stulir was born March 19, 1970 in Kittery, Maine the daughter of Robert R. and Jeanne Fragosa Crossman of Smyrna.
She worked as a Management Analyst for the State of Delaware Pensions office for 8 years prior to her illness.
Mrs. Stulir was a member of St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church in Smyrna where she was active with volunteer work. She was also a volunteer at the Smyrna Library, and offered her time and services with the Democratic Party. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her children.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stulir is survived by her husband, Gary F. Stulir; three children, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Benjamin Stulir; a brother, Robert Crossman Jr. of Nottingham, England; and her maternal grandparents, Therese and Joseph Fragosa of Sandwich, Massachusetts; nephew William Stulir; niece Brooke Stulir; and nephew Robert R. Crossman III.
Mass of Christian burial will be offered Friday, June, 26 at 10:30 a.m., in St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church, 135 Ranson Lane, Smyrna. Friends may call Thursday, June 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street, Smyrna. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice 911 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
