As a high school history teacher I have scrutinized our state’s government over the past 13 years. When I teach about our government, it is obvious that the State of Delaware is an organization that provides a multitude of services and offers job opportunities for thousands of employees – a lot like a corporation.
We need people with business experience in the executive branch of our government to lead Delaware and help the citizens of this great state. Charlie Copeland is just that – a small business man who has grown his family’s business and created jobs for many Delawareans in the process. Mr. Copeland has had the experience of creating a budget for the state and then made sure to hold the state accountable for its expenditures. This is exactly the type of experience we need for Delaware.
