My name is Beverly. I hail from Smyrna – or let’s say my address is Smyrna, but I live way out in the Woodland Beach area. I am on a quest here and I could use your help to get the word out.
I live in an area where I can’t get DSL or cable Internet. I contacted Comcast and they said to get cable out my way for just me would cost them $150,000 – which is out of the question UNLESS I can get at least 150 people who would be interested in getting cable in this area.
I am looking to find people who want cable from the Route 1 overpass all the way out to Woodland Beach, including Woodland Beach Road, Lighthouse Road, Big Oak Road, Gravesend Road, Severson Neck Road, and Hawkey Branch Road. Are you tired of having limited choices just because of where you live? Well, let’s do something about it!
If I get a general idea and I can present it to Comcast, then they said they would most definitely look in to it and it could become a reality in our area.
