Since the Town of Smyrna will be having a special election to fill an open at-large left vacant as a result of the April 30 election, the town will offer more days for voters to register.
The open at-large seat is for a one-year term; the seat was left vacant by Joanne Masten who won her bid for mayor in the election. Masten had one year left of a three-year term in her at-large seat.Smyrna/clayton Sun-timesStaff Reports.
