Smyrna Town Council gave approval Monday night for a triathlon club to use Lake Como for training purposes.
Town Manager Dave Hugg said Lake Como is regulated to swimming within the nets at the beach; however, the town has allowed clubs to use the other part of Lake Como for triathlons in the past.
