Democrat for 7th District Representative
Each candidate was asked to respond to three questions.
1. What are the top issues that I will address?
Affordable quality healthcare
Comprehensive opioid program
Jobs and economic development
Schools where all students can prosper
Coordinated community involvement
2. What makes me uniquely qualified for the political office I seek?
Experience matters as so many people have told me in my door to door campaign. I have served for 26 years as Senior Vice President at Christiana Care working with a very diverse group of people to participate in restoring health to thousands of Delawareans each year and because of this experience I know healthcare. I have served 8 years elected chairman of the Community Planning Committee in Arden and because of this experience, I know the needs of local governments and communities. For the past 5 years, I have served on the Board of the Wilmington Hope Commission a program focused on breaking the chain of recidivism for young men and because of this experience I know what it takes to improve our criminal justice system. Currently, I am teaching at Arcadia University in their Global School of Business Healthcare Administration and have taught for 10 years as an adjunct faculty member at Penn State University (Brandywine Campus) and because of this experience, I know what it takes to be a teacher. I believe that this experience makes me uniquely qualified.
