The race on Providence Drive near George C. Wright Jr. Municipal Park raised funds to buy a CPR chest-compression machine for American Legion Ambulance 64.

Matthew Bivins won the First Responders 5K, and Mardiny Ung was the top female finisher in Saturday’s race to raise funds for a CPR machine for American Legion Ambulance 64.

Bivins crossed the line in 21:33.2, while Ung finished in 22:38.8 out of a total of 53 participants.

In the master’s division for ages 40 and over, Robert Lupo was the top men’s runner in 21:52.2, while Nina Smeltzer won the women’s event in 27:08.9.
