On Senior Night, the 2017 Smyrna High soccer team secured the program's first winning season since 2009.

The Smyrna High School soccer team won big on Senior Night Nov. 1 and broke a seven-year streak of losing seasons for the program.

The Eagles defeated Dickinson 8-0 at Charles V. Williams Stadium to finish the season 8-6-1, the program's first winning season since Smyrna went 9-6 in 2009.

Dakota Kerr and Nick Taylor each scored twice to lead the Eagles.

Adding one goal apiece were Cornelius Yancy, Dylan Chi, Fitzgerald Freeman and Iverson Orozco-Lopez.

Yancey and Kerr had assists for Smyrna.

Abdul Musa made two saves for the Eagles.
