The Jaguars improved to 1-1 this season with Friday night's win and now will take on St. Georges Tech Saturday, Sept. 22.

The Appoquinimink High School football team improved to 1-1 this season with a 35-0 home win Friday night over Delcastle.

Justin Henry scored on a two-yard run to give the Jaguars a 6-0 lead in the first quarter.

Savion Field ran for a 10-yard touchdown and then ran for the two-point conversion as Appo took a 14-0 lead at halftime.

Then the Jags put the game away with 21 points in the third quarter.

Field scored on a three-yard run. Elijah Pittman bulled into the end zone on a four-yard run, and John Ngatia scored on a 65-yard fumble return.

Isabella Scarpinato kicked the extra point after each of the third-quarter touchdowns.
