The Smyrna High field hockey team fought back from a 1-0 deficit in the second half to defeat Polytech 2-1 in overtime Tuesday in Smyrna.

After a scoreless first half, Polytech took a 1-0 lead with 9:30 to play in the second half.

Smyrna's Lexi Moore scored on an assist from Julie Snow at the 4:22 mark to tie the game at 1-1.

In overtime, Snow scored on a penalty stroke at the 13:30 mark for the game winner as the Eagles improved to 6-3 this season.

Katelynn Porter made four saves for Smyrna.
