Julie Snow scored four goals to help lead the Smyrna High field hockey team to an 8-1 home win over Laurel Oct. 11.
The Eagles wore pink jerseys in the "Play 4 A Cure" breast cancer awareness game.
Jessica Bergold struck first for the Eagles, scoring at the 18:21 mark of the opening half.
Snow knocked in the next goal with an assist from Madison Simpson with 12:50 left in the half.
About three minutes later, Lexi Moore scored with an assist from Bergold.
Just 39 seconds later, Snow scored unassisted.
With 4:42 left in the half, Snow struck again to give the Eagles a 5-0 lead they held until halftime.
Snow knocked in her fourth goal of the game on a penalty stroke at the 21:29 mark of the second half.
Less than three minutes later, Payton Dixon scored with an assist from Snow.
Madeline Wilber knocked in Smyrna's eighth goal with 14:43 to play.
The Eagles outshot Laurel 17-1 and held a 10-0 advantage in penalty corners.
Katelynn Porter made one save for the Eagles who improved to 7-3 this season.
