Rider runners finished first and second to lead the team to victory at Killen's Pond State Park Saturday.

Caesar Rodney’s one-two punch of Maleah Chumley and Keely Arndt led the Riders to the Henlopen Conference Girls Cross Country Championship Saturday at Killen’s Pond State Park near Felton.

Chumley won the race in 19:15.4 while Arndt placed second in 20:18.0.

The rest of the Riders’ top five runners placed eighth, 15th and 26th for a team total of 52 (low score wins).
