Deinert, DiCampli win fifth annual Firefly 5K in downtown Smyrna

Katie Deinert and Michael DiCampli took top honors as the female and male overall winners in the fifth annual Firefly 5K on May 27 in downtown Smyrna.

Deinert, a graduating senior at Smyrna High, was the overall female winner for the second year in a row with a time of 20:34.

DiCampli, of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, was the top finisher overall with a time of 18:01.

The Firefly 5K, hosted by the Smyrna Downtown Renaissance Association, benefits the Smyrna Police Athletic League (PAL).

Ages 15-19, male: Michael DiCampli (18:01), Cody Sawyer-Barwick (18:27) and Ryan Kaski-Vacima (19:00).
