Katie Deinert and Michael DiCampli took top honors as the female and male overall winners in the fifth annual Firefly 5K on May 27 in downtown Smyrna.
Deinert, a graduating senior at Smyrna High, was the overall female winner for the second year in a row with a time of 20:34.
DiCampli, of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, was the top finisher overall with a time of 18:01.
The Firefly 5K, hosted by the Smyrna Downtown Renaissance Association, benefits the Smyrna Police Athletic League (PAL).
