The Smyrna Middle School wrestling team can add another year to its “undefeated” banner hanging in the SMS gymnasium.

The Eagles closed out their eighth straight perfect season with wins over Lake Forest’s W.T. Chipman Middle School and Indian River’s Selbyville Middle School last week.

With those wins, the SMS finished the season with a 10-0 mark.

That makes 89 straight dual meet victories for Smyrna’s middle school program. The streak dates back to 2002.
