North Smyrna Elementary held their Title I Family Night Dec. 4 at the school for students and their families to come out and make some Christmas decorations and visit with Santa.

The night started out with dinner and dessert, followed by the Christmas activities. The students and their families went around the various stations to make Christmas crafts such as lollipop reindeer. Once they've completed each station, they got a stamp. At the end of the night, students who completed each station received a prize.

Santa was along for the event to visit and give gifts to students. Handouts with various kinds of information were also available for parents.

There was also a used book swap table; students could bring in a book and exchange it for a "new" book.
