The Smyrna High School JV boys basketball team improved to 9-1 on the season after Thursday night's 52-44 win over Concord High School.

Smyrna was led by Latrelle Lee with 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Jameir Sudler with 11 points. Big contributions also came from Jerry Williams and Rasheed Cobb, who came up with key rebounds to close the game.

Next up for the Eagles is a home game Saturday, Jan. 26 against Newark. The game starts at 1 p.m.
