Jake Kaiser scored five goals to lead the Eagles to a 9-3 victory over Indian River Friday at Smyrna High.
The Eagles jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first quarter and held a 2-1 advantage at halftime.
Then in the third quarter, the Eagles heated up with three goals to extend their lead to 5-1.
The fourth quarter was action packed with six goals, and the Eagles scored four of those for the 9-3 final margin.
Along with Kaiser, the Eagles who tallied goals were Joseph Russillo with two, Luke Russillo with two, and Jacob Soroko with one.
Assisting on goals for Smyrna were Matthew Sarkissian and Luke Russillo with two apiece, and Joseph Russillo and Jacob Soroko with one each.
Smyrna had 45 saves in the contest.
The Eagles are now 3-2, with their next game on Wednesday, April 15 at 4 p.m., at home versus Dover.
