In January, the Delaware Senate voted on and passed Senate Bill 39, legislation that would raise Delaware’s minimum wage to $10.25 an hour, according to a release by state Sen. David McBride, D-13th District.

McBride and 10 other senators voted in favor of the bill. SB 39 will now go to the House of Representatives for consideration.

McBride said he believes the wage increase will help Delaware’s economy at every level.
