New Castle County Police looking for additional information about theft from home near Fieldstone Golf Club

New Castle County Police are searching for a six- foot mounted elk head that was taken after a party in a home east of Hockessin near Fieldstone Golf Club.

According to a press release, on Monday, Feb. 13, New Castle County Police responded to a home in the unit block of Swallow Hill Road for a criminal mischief report. Officers learned the resident’s daughter held a party on Friday, Feb. 10, with about 50 people in attendance.

Police said that during a walk-through of the home, officers observed multiple holes in the walls and three broken windows.

Also, taken from the home sometime during the party was a six-foot mounted elk head valued at $65,000, police said.
