"Beer on Ice" will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at Delaware State Fair's Centre Ice Rink, 644 Fairgrounds Road, Harrington.

"Beer on Ice" is a craft beer tasting event at the Centre Ice Rink. Eight breweries will be on-site serving up 17 different beers. Ticket redemption will open at 1:30 p.m., though patrons will need to remain in the rink lobby until the event opens on the ice.

Attendees can pair favorite brews with treats from Bethany Blues, Mojo Loco, Vanderwende’s Ice Cream and the Centre Ice Rink Coach’s Café. The Federal Street Band will perform on the ice.

Curling demonstrations will take place throughout the event, and patrons can even try their hand at the sport.

This is a nonskating event. The ice will be covered with carpet, so no public skating will take place.

General admission tickets are $25 and include six beer tasting tickets, a souvenir mug and a cool ice rink experience. Designated driver tickets are $15 and include two soda tickets and one hot dog from Coach's Café. Additional beer tickets may be purchased on-site for $2 per ticket.

All patrons must be 21 years of age or older for this event.
