U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Dustin C. Bergeron graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Bergeron earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Elaine Morris and step son of Stacy Morris, of Clayton; brother of Eden Mannon and Deryk Bergeron, of Hartly; grandson of Maria Bergeron, of Clayton; and son-in-law of Kristie and Dean Tolliver, of Clayton. He is also the husband of Heather Bergeron.
The airman is a 2015 graduate of Smyrna High School.
