The Delaware State Police have released a preliminary report about the SUV rollover crash east of Smyrna Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Delaware State Police have sent a preliminary report about the rollover crash Wednesday, Dec. 27 on Smyrna Leipsic Road east of Smyrna.
A 2002 Mercury SUV driven by a 59-year-old Leipsic man was traveling west on Smyrna Leipsic Road approaching Big Oak Road when he ran off the road for an unknown reason, police said.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing. No information is available yet if the driver was cited in the crash.

The Delaware State Police helicopter was called to assist firefighters and ambulance personnel after an SUV rolled over east of Smyrna Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Citizens' Hose Company was called to the scene at 3:33 p.m., on Smyrna Leipsic Road just east of Big Oak Road.
Along with the Delaware State Police helicopter, firefighters were assisted by American Legion Ambulance 64, Leipsic Ambulance 53, and Kent County Paramedics.
State Police haven't released a report on the accident yet.
An update will be posted on the Sun-Times website when the police report is available.
